We are excited to introduce our new blog/video series for the New Year. Each month we will have 1 topic with all the blogs/videos pertaining to the topic. With it being the New Year and New Year’s resolutions, we figured the best topic would be fitness.
As a chiropractic clinic, we, unfortunately, see patients that get injured. Our clinic is designed as a one-stop shop. We can take you from an acute injury, transition through the rehab phase and onto functional and performance training. Many other places we see miss that last transition, which is going from rehab to training. If that piece of the puzzle is not addressed properly, that’s when injuries and relapses occur.
Here is why functional/performance fitness important
- Prevent injury
- Number 2 increased performance, weight loss or that beach body
- However, these often reverse and causing injury while training
That’s why our training programs are tailored to your strengths and weakness and limitations
Here’s why getting assessed before your training is the most important part
- Identify strengths weakness, muscle imbalances to have a better plan to reach your goals
- Functional testing- FMS (Functional Movement Screen), SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), TPI Golf Fitness, Strength and power testing
- We can develop a better plan to reach your goals and to prevent injuries
